“Health Status of the Philippines and my Solution”

There is such thing that we called as negentropy or the organization of systems
according to order, structure, and function. Negentropy is what all of us wants to achieve.
The Philippines, and the world battle issues to be able obtain a negentropic environment.
But, on the personal level, there’s nothing I can do with the so many rising issues in the
Philippines, but I believe that the solution to a problem starts with so little activity that will
have a macro effect.

In the article that I have read, eight health issues made to the Philippine news
headlines in the year 2018. The top 8 are the following: Diabetes, Tuberculosis, Dengue,
Measles, HIV/AIDS, Cervical Cancer, Alcoholism, and Medical Marijuana. Each of these
topics has been in the list of the Philippine statistics as the most dominating cases when
it comes to mortality rate – many years back.

The question is not "How to solve these issues?” instead, it should be "What can
we do in our little ways that will result in the solution of these issues?".

Diabetes, eat less rice; Tuberculosis, spread awareness on transmission; Dengue,

promote environmental cleaning; Measles, encourage vaccination; HIV/AIDS, use
protection and be faithful to partners; Cervical Cancer, have annual check-ups;
Alcoholism, stop teenagers; and Medical Marijuana, do not legalize it. All of these are our
ways that we can extend to our friends, neighbors, and loved ones.

Our cause does not need to be grandiose nor elaborated; it just needs to be
significant. An action is significant when its effect reaches out to other people, that it will
touch other people's lives. That people may learn how to be knowledgeable and
cooperative. For knowledge about the threats and risk in our health will make us
understand how vital our significant actions are. We should be in one with the
administration's health programs and policies because the effect expected from those
movements are only carried out upon our participation.

Let us always remember, the most excellent medicine of all is to teach people how
not to need it. Let us appreciate our ability to be knowledgeable and our ability to make a
mark. Let us not be complacent and facade-maker. Let us start recalibrating our ways now
and calibrate our future to having optimum health and well-being at all ages.
