DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Read/Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals understanding of

symbols, lines and marks.
 Performed BCF 767 ( Boeing Converted Freighter ) modification.
 Dismantle, inspect, record discrepancies, recommended and record method of repair, repair assemble,
install, carry out all other structural functions and fabricate parts and components from drawings or
repair manuals.
 Performing trimming, reforming alternating parts and structures as required. Fabricate detail parts
such as stiffeners, patches, brackets, doublers and splice.
 Familiar of operating/using a folded type bender, rollers, forming blocks and other fabrication
equipment.
 Able to work safety and efficiency with minimum supervision.
 Manufacture and repair non stock structural parts. Maintains clean and neat working area at all times
and follows all company safety rules and regulation.
 Document maintenance performed on required forms.
 Repair body/ structure of aircraft according to specifications.
 Reinstall repaired or replacement parts for subsequent riveting using clamps and wrenches.
 Read works orders, blueprints, and specifications or examine sample or damaged parts or structures
to determine or fabrication procedures and sequence of operation.
 Repair/fabricate defective sections or parts using metal fabricating machines, saws, shears, and
grinders.
 Perform removal and installation of new parts as good as new.
 Performed removal and installation of solid shank rivets and blind rivets.
 All maintenance and repair must be done in accordance with the standards specification.
 Perform a variety of sheet metal assembly, repair and installation operation which includes all of the
following: Cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting shimming, aligning, adjusting, clamping,
reaming, sealing, riveting and bucking to assemble primary and major sections of aircraft structures.
 Maintain, modify and install the various components of aircraft sheetmetal.
 Remove and disassemble defective parts of the aircraft.
 Perform final checks on assembly and installation of parts that were replaced.
