EXPERIMENT NO. 8 : PREDICTION OF PROPERTIES PERMEABILITY, RELATIVE


PERMEABILITY, SATURATION ETC.
OBJECTIVE
To study about Prediction of properties permeability, relative permeability, saturation etc.
and hence conduct Reservoir Modeling & Simulation using PETREL

PRINCIPLE
The main objective is to simulate the exploitation of a real reservoir without the costs of
real life trial and error, e.g. to test different production scenarios to find an optimal one
before the reservoir is actually put on production.

OBJECTIVE
To help students understand the importance of Gridding and its selection in Reservoir
Model using PETREL

PRINCIPLE
The main objective is to simulate the exploitation of a real reservoir without the costs of
real life trial and error, e.g. to test different production scenarios to find an optimal one
before the reservoir is actually put on production.
