MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This agreement made and entered into by and between:

Barangay Luna, a political administrative unit of the government under the

Republic of the Philippines, with office address at Barangay Luna, Quirino, Isabela
represented herein by its Barangay Captain Rudy J. Lamire., herein referred to as the
“Barangay”
-And-

Luna-Suerte Elementary School, a public elementary school with office address at

Barangay Luna, Quirino, Isabela represented by its Principal Sahlee E. Miguel,
hereinafter referred to as “Elementary School”;

WITNESSTH, that:

WHERAS, the mandate of Elementary School is to provide free basic elementary

education and promote the safety and well-being of the pupils;

WHERAS, as gesture of support for the elementary school, the Barangay is

committed to work together for the goal of promoting peace and security inside and
outside the premises of the school

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties herein agree to work together to achieve its
goals in ensuring the safety of school children through the following undertakings:

A. The Barangay shall:

1. Assist the school in maintaing peace and security inside and outside the
school premises;
2. Provide and assign Barangay Tanod who will assisst school children in
crossing the road every morning and afternoon as they enter or leave the
school premises.

B. The Elementary School shall:

1. Provide the class schedule in each grade level that will serve as basis in the
establishment of working schedule of Barangay Tanod.
2. Inform immediately the Barangay if there are changes of class schedule.
3. Provide support mechanism to the Barangay for the continued viability of its
commitment in promoting peace and security of school children in the
barangay.
