Academic Projects

Five Level Inverter For renewable Power Generation System

A five level inverter is developed and applied for injecting the real power of the renewable power
into the grid to reduce the switching power loss, harmonic distortion and electromagnetic
interference caused by the switching operation of power electronic devices. The main objective is
to reduce the harmonic content which presents in the output of the inverter to supply the active
power which is distortion free to the load. As we keep on increasing the level of the inverter, we
can reduce the harmonic distortions. The final output of the inverter is distortion free.
