This is because there


is a link between the theories of education that develop with the concepts of the curriculum
developed. As the development of modern society, education is held more formally, especially in
schools, this is because schools have the advantage of being broad to provide educational content
that is not only moral values taught but also about technological and life development and providing
knowledge and skills which is wider and deeper than the family.

A syllabus in education is useful as a guideline for developing further learning devices, starting from
planning, managing learning activities and developing assessments.

The syllabus is useful as a guideline in the development of further learning, such as making learning
plans, managing learning activities and developing assessment systems. The syllabus is the main
source in the preparation of learning plans, magic learning plans for one Competency Standard and
one Basic Competency.

Curriculum development is a curriculum planning process to produce a broad and specific curriculum
plan. This process is related to the selection and organization of various components of the teaching
learning situation, including the establishment of schedule for organizing the curriculum and the
specifications of suggested objectives, subjects, activities, source and measuring instruments for
curriculum development that refers to the creation of unit plans and other dual curriculum lesson
lines, to facilitate the teaching learning process.

While curriculum design can defined as a plan or arrangement of curriculum elements consisting of
goals, content, learning experiences and evaluation.

Curriculum is a tool to achieve dynamic education. This means that the curriculum must always be
developed and refined to suit the pace of development of science and technology.

While syllabus design it can also be associated with a learning plan on a subject that must include
importan components, starting from competency standards, basic competencies, learning materials,
learning activities, indicators, assesment, time allocation, and learning resources.

Syllabus design is often use as a guideline or main resource for developing more complete learning,
starting from arranging learning plans, arranging learning activities to developing learning outcomes
assement sytems. I essence, the syllabus design is used as a guidline for the teacher to plan and run
the lesson program.

The goals of needs analysis (need assessment) is made so that it can measure the level of disparity
that occurs in student learning from what is expected and what has been obtained. In terms of
measuring gaps, an analysis person must be biased or able to know some of the problems at hand.
