PREAMBLE

LUPANG HINIRANG
We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the
aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just and Bayang magiliw
humane society, and establish a Government Perlas ng Silanganan,
that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, Alab ng puso,
Sa dibdib mo’y buhay.
promote the common good, conserve and Lupang Hinirang,
develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves Duyan ka ng magiting,
and our posterity, the blessings of Sa manlulupig,
independence and democracy under the rule of Di ka pasisiil.
law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, Sa dagat at bundok,
