RUNOFF ANALYSIS
Person/s Assigned:
Establish 24-hour design hyetographs for 2,10,25,50 and 100-year return periods
using:
-PAGASA Generated RIDF Curve by Alternating Block Method
-Huff Types 1,2,3 and 4
Apply the area reduction factor if necessary.
Using HEC-HMS, generate hydrologic model of watershed
Determine the peak flow, volume of flood, total runoff depth and time to peak at the
outlet.
Compare peak flows generated from the five sets of return periods by statistical
analysis
Validate the peak flows at the outlet using the rational method.
Get percent differences from each statistical method used.
