Department of Psychology is organizing “Two Day Workshop on Psychological Assessment” on

17 - 18 February 2011. Venue of workshop is Conference Hall, Vidya Mandir.The workshop will be
conducted by eminent psychometrician Mr. Vijai Pandey (Director, Central Test Psychometric
Assessment Pvt. Ltd.).

About the Workshop:The main purpose of this workshop is to help students of psychology and non-
psychology to get trained in psychological measurement and to acquaint them with the science of test
administration.
Workshop will provide participants a comprehensive introduction and hand on experience in
psychometry and psychometric assessment. Participants will be provided information about various tests,
administration procedure,and ways of interpretation.Information about ethical issues will be presented which
is associated with psychological testing. In addition, participants will also learn to link psychometry with
business objectives, assessment in counseling, social issues and research. As a result, participants will be able
to use tests / scales for various purposes including, selection, placement, promotion, guidance and counseling,
diagnosis and research.

Registration:Willing students (Psychology/ MSW), &research scholar could register themselves as limited no.
of participant will be allowed in the workshop.There will be no registration charges, but seats are available as
first come first basis. Registration form could be taken from office of Department of Psychology or can be

The last date for submission of registration form is 14 February 2011 till 5:00 pm.
Reporting time for participation and kit distribution will start at 8:30 am and be closed at 9:00 am sharp, at
Conference Hall, Vidya Mandir.Filling registration form does not guarantee participation, no one
will be allowed to participate in the workshop if fail to reportattendance in the workshop at the above
mentioned time.

• Registration form should be forwarded to respective HOD.
• Attendance is essential in all the sessions for issuing of certificate.
