PRE-TRIAL SCRIPT:

We, the prosecution, would like to respectfully propose the following facts for
stipulation:

1. The identity of that charged in the information and that of the person arraigned is one and the
same;

2. The identity of Cady George, the private complainant;

3. That Cady George, private complainant, is 16 years of age at the time of the commission of
the crime;

4. The date, time and place of the incident, which is December 5, 2015 at about 10 o’clock in
the morning at the St. Michael High School, school paper’s office.

Pre-trial evidence:

The prosecution respectfully submits the following evidence for marking:

1. Exhibit 1 - Complaint affidavit of herein private complainant, Cady W. George

Purpose: To prove what transpired on December 5, 2015 at the school paper’s office of St.
Michael School as regards the incident

2. Exhibit 2 - Birth certificate of Cady W. George, private complainant

Purpose: To establish that private complainant is a minor at the time of the commission of the
crime

3. Time Card of Mr. Aaron Padilla for December 2015

Purpose: To show proof that accused is in the school’s premises at the time of the commission
of the crime

Direct Examination: Cady W. George

Prosecutor: Your honor, the prosecution calls the complainant Ms.Cady Wurtzback George as
its witness. The testimony of Ms.George is being offered to prove that the accused, Mr. Aaron
Padilla, committed the crime of Qualified Seduction.

Q: Please state your name, your age, your occupation, and your place of residence.

A: Cady W. George, 16, fourth year high school, and a resident of 123 Galicia Street, Sampaloc,
Manila

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: St. Michelle’s Catholic School

Q: As a high school student, what are your interests or affiliations in school?

A: Writing and cheerleading. I am the editor-in-chief of “Sparks”, the school paper.

Q: I have here with me a document, can you tell me what this is?

A: This is Sparks, the school paper where I work as editor-in-chief

Q: In this school paper, there is box which reads: editorial staff. Can you please read who is
the teacher supervising this paper?

A: Mr. Aaron Padilla

Q: How were you related to the said Aaron Padilla?

A: He is the adviser of the newspaper where I am editor-in-chief and I work with him always.

Q: How often?

A: When the school year started, I was directly placed under his supervision, since he is the
school paper’s adviser. I work with him almost every day, sometimes even on weekends.

Q: Aside from being your adviser, how else is Mr. Padilla related to you?

A: He seduced me on December 5 last year.

Q: Your honor, it has been admitted that the incident occurred on December 5, 2015. Cady,
what did you do on December 5, 2015?

A: I went to school that day.

Q: Why were you in school?

A: I wanted to finish some work, which was due the week after. I went directly to the editorial
office.

Q: Why are you in the editorial office?

A: To finish some work.

Q: Don’t you have classes on that day?

A: No, we don’t have regular classes.

Q: Why?

A: It is a Saturday.

Q: Who authorized you to come to the office on a Saturday?

A: Mr. Padilla.

Q: When you went to the editorial office on that day, who are you with?

A: Mr. Padilla

Q: Are there any other editorial board or anyone of your classmates who are also with you?

A: None.

Q: Can you tell before this court what happened inside the said editorial office while you were
there with Mr. Padilla?

A: Mr. Padilla came in the office to check on my work. After a couple of minutes, he approached
me.

Q: Upon approaching you, what did he do next?

A: He started rubbing my shoulders. He leaned over, and whispered: “I have a huge crush on
you, Cadie.”

Q: After that statement, is there anything else that he told you?

A: He told me “on weekdays, I often see you wearing your high school uniform, but right now,
you’re wearing something different, something sexy.

Q: After telling you those things, what did he do next?

then he started fondling my boobies. And then he inserted his thing in my vajayjay.

Q: What do you mean when you said thing?

A: His private part

Counsel: For the best interest of the minor, the prosecution respectfully requests the permission
of this Honorable Court, your Honor, if we can use a doll as a tool to facilitate the questioning of
the minor.

Q: Cady, imagine that this is yourself. Please do point to us to which part of this doll did he
insert his thing

Counsel’s manifestation: Your Honor, the prosecution would like to manifest that may it be of
record that the child witness through the use of a doll manifested before this court that the
accused touched her breasts, and inserted his private part in the vagina of the child witness.

A: No more than 20 minutes.

Q: Have you ever had the same experience in the past with the same person?

A: No.

Formal Offer:

Your honor, at this point, the prosecution is now ready to make the formal offer before this Honorable
Court of the following documentary evidence:

1. The Complaint affidavit of herein private complainant, Cady W. George

Purpose: To prove the material facts and circumstances of the commission of the crime of
qualified seduction by the accused;

2. Birth certificate of Cady W. George, private complainant

Purpose: To establish that private complainant is a minor at the time of the commission of the
crime  No need if age is admitted

3. Document entitled “Sparks”, the official school newspaper of complainant’s school


and as an Annex thereto, the editorial box of the said newspaper earlier marked as
Exhibit 3-a;

Purpose: To show proof that private complainant is under the custody of the accused at the time
of the commission of the crime

4. Time Cards of accused Mr. Aaron Padilla for December 2015

Purpose: To show proof that accused is in the school’s premises at the time of the commission
of the crime
