-Hilton's core business is the lodging and Hospitality industry.Hilton's hotels was
the most internationally renowned name in the lodging industry.

has arround 2906 properties-owned,managed and franshised.
-All the proeprties Hilton corporation has like Hilton hotels,Hilton International
and Hampton Inn all together are into hosipitality sector
-Having a sizable amount of properties already Hilton proposed an expansion in the
industry that spear headed the infrastructure of today�s lodging industry. .
-Although lodging and the hospitality industry was what carried the Hilton name,the
corporation did some incredible strides forward that allowed them to get the
customer satisfaction and retention and CRM intiative
-Their biggest revolution was not just building and expanding, Hilton invested very
heavily in information technology.
They integrated a comprehensive infrastructure known as OnQ or �On the cue,� which
embodied the one-stop shop for easy and fast solutions to customer readiness.
OnQ was an enterprise system designed to support the property-level operations of
each hotel in the Hilton family, regardless of size and segment,
and to enable the firms Customers Really Matter initiative at each customer
interaction

Hilton Hotels was founded by Conrad Hilton in 1919 with the Mobley Hotel in Cisco,
Texas.
In 1946 Hilton went public for expansion under the name Hilton Hotel corporaation
with 15 propertied in 11 states.
After international spin off in 1964 ,Hilton focused on Domestic growth into
casions and vacation ownership.In 2000,Hilton acquired Promus Hotel
corporation,which pushed Hilton proeprtied to 1700.
Then in 2005:Hilton bought back Hilton
international adding 400 hilton properties .By 2006,it expanded to 3000 total
properties.
Hilton Hotels became successfull because of other's peoples money as quoted in the
case by CEO of "The Americas".
The fast way Hilton hotels adopted is by franchising ,alignement, with real estate
owners and standardising service delivery options
Also CRMm strategy laucnhed in 2002,helped in acheieving clear idea of what are
customer needs&preferences and improve customer experience.
OnQ is the IT platform to match customer reservations with profile database and
previous data used to order in small amount of time making their reservation
special.
By OnQ and CRM initiative. Hilton hotels has earned significant
recognition,customer loyalityand much customer traffic.
