ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN

MAPEH
S.Y. 2017-2018

I. Introduction
There were many activities that were done within the academic year 2017-
2018 that would help the children’s holistic well being. These helped the children to
engage more in physical activities.

Physical education shows the importance of maintaining a healthy body


and teaches the importance of regular fitness activity in daily routine, which in turn
keeps them happy and energized.

Engaging in sports will help students refrain from various forms of vices such

as drugs, smoking, drinking and even gambling.Physical Education subject attempts

to let the students have holistic and active lifestyle and at the same time learn life

from valuing the essence of winning and losing.

Intramurals or sports competition is essential to the well-being of the students.

Sports instill how to win, how to accept defeat, how to interact with other people and

how to mold them to have desirable character traits that are vital in achieving

success in the future.

Mojon Elementary School successfully conducted School Intramurals, August

1, 2017 headed by Mrs THEODORA C. SALAMAT, school principal. Pupils won

different awards from different sports category in District, Unit,, Provincial Meet up to

ONE LAGUNA. Denise Shynne M. Aguilan and Kriztle Mae Montaña (gymnastics )

gave honor to the school. Also, selected pupils participated to show their skills and

abilities in different sports such as arnis, javelin throw, running, basketball and the

like.
Teachers attended the Inset Training in MAPEH in Laguna Sports Complex

for the additional knowledge with regards to sports.

School was also involved in the 2017 NESTLE WELLNESS CAMPUS.


Paraphernalia were distributed to all the MSEP and MAPEH teachers like leaflets,
CD and teacher’s guide to discuss the essence of being healthy. It also includes the
Pinggang Pinoy wherein the 3 Basic Food Groups are emphasized. Teachers gave
further explanation about the given paraphernalia. All the Grade Levels were
energetically participated especially during the discussion and they are all eager to
learn about the beneficial effect of proper exercise and eating the right kinds of food.
During the discussion, it emphasized the importance of good nutrition in times of
emergencies and disasters. They also watched the CD of the new wellness for
elementary and afterwards they performed the said activity in the field with joy in
their heart.

Field Demonstration conducted once again at Mojon Elementary School in


which the pupils from different grade levels highlight their talent in dancing. That day
consisted of alluring costumes, colorful props, moving music, and blazing energy.
Each grade level prepared two different kinds of music, one folk dance and the other
one is calisthenics wherein they used materials in dancing such as pompoms, ring,
or ribbons.

II. Objectives

1. Develop the psychomotor of the students, this way they will able

to channel their energy and time the right way.

2. To promote camaraderie and rapport among the students, and

other school personnel. In other words, this undertaking is poised

to build a strong bond and cohesion.

3. Highlight the amazing talent and gracefulness of the pupils in

dancing through their performances;

4. Deliver the message of our exceptional folk dances through


different unique movements; and to
5. Encourage the parents to participate actively in different school
activities.
