METHODOLOGY

This section presents the methods that will be used in this study.

Research Design

Experimental research design will be used to determine the Effectiveness of

Pandanus Amaryllifolius as Perfume. According to Adi Bhat, Experimental research

is any research conducted with a scientific approach, where a set of variables are

kept constant while the other set of variables are being measured as subject of

experiment.

Materials and equipments

The materials needed in the study are distilled water, almond oil, pandan

extract, sprat bottle, vanilla, dark container, alcohol and coffee filter.

I. PREPARATION

Collect pandan leaves (get the extract), prepare all the materials

neede. Add almond oil in the bottle, add the essential oil (pandan and

vanilla). Add 2 ½ ounces of alcohol. Shake the bottle for a couple of

minutes then let it sit for 48 hours to 5 days, the scent will change over

time, becoming stronger for about 1 week. When the scent is you want to

be add 2 tablespoons of distilled water to perfume. Shake the bottle to mix

the perfume, then filter it to the final bottle.

II. TREATMENT

The perfume with Pandanus Amaryllifolius crude extract was

tested it only 2 pump if you going to use it and also how long the

smell of the perfume stock in your clothes. A week after you use this

perfume observe if it’s effective to use this perfume.
