Summary
Roja45: Recommend Products module lets you select a category or selection of products that
will be displayed on every product page, and on the shopping cart. If you have related or
suggested products this module can display them and let the customer add them to their
shopping cart.

Roja45: Recommend Plus (Paid) module has an upgraded assignment mechanism to allow
different selection to be displayed depending on the product or category currently selected.

 1) Installation
Please follow these instructions to install your new module into your prestashop
installation.

1: Log into Prestashop Backoffice

Go to your Prestashop Backoffice and login to the system Dashboard.

 2: Select Modules
Select the MODULES tab.

3: Add a New Module

Select the ‘Add a new module’ option.

 This will display a field allowing you to select the zip file you downloaded containing the
module.

 4: Select New Module to Install
Select ‘Choose file’, browse to your downloaded module zip file, select it, and select OK.
You then select ‘Upload the module’ option.

5: Install Your New Module

After a few seconds the module will be uploaded to your server, and the option to install
will be offered. You may now select the install option.

 Prestashop will display a warning message that this module is unverified. This is because
you are not installing the module via the official prestashop store. You may safely ‘Proceed
with the installation’.

6: Complete
Congratulations, you have now successfully installed your new module. You may now
proceed to the module configuration section.

 2) User Guide
1. Module Administration
The module administration page is reached via the ‘Configure’ button on the modules page.
Here we set the modules general settings.

1.1. General Settings

Enter your details and select ‘Save Settings’, this will immediately save the details to your
server.

1.1.1. Configurable Settings

Select Method: Choose whether you want to display a category of products or a selection
of individual products.
Number of Products: The maximum number of products to display.
Display Random Products: Enable this to select the products randomly from the products
selected. NB. This only has an effect of you selection criteria returns more products to
display than you have selected to display.

1.1.2. Selection By Category

Select Category: Displays the category hierarchy selection dialog. You can browse this
hierarchy and select the category to display.

 1.1.3. Selection By Products
Search for a product: Live search box, start typing the product and it will search for
matching products (min. 3 characters).
Products: This drop down contains the search results.
Add to Selection: After selecting the required product in the drop down search results,
select this button to add the product to the list of selected products.
Selected Products: The list of currently selected products. Use the Remove button to
remove an entry from this list.

 3) Theme Customizations
1. Customizing Your Module
This module by default is configured for the default Prestashop theme. If you want to use
this module with a custom theme, or if you would like to change the styling, or layout of the
modules, you will need to extend the relevant files.

1.1. CSS Styling

In your theme directory you will need to add a directory for this module in the css modules
folder.

Step 1: Create a new directory.

<PRESTASHOP ROOT>/themes/<YOUR THEME
DIRECTORY>/css/roja45recommendproducts/css
Step 2: Create a new css file in this directory
roja45quotations.css
Step 3: Add Custom Styles
You may now add your new custom stylings to this file
