Notice of Consent for Removal of Contractor’s Equipment

When to use

If the Contractor wishes to remove his equipment from the site, consent of the Engineer is
required.

By definition, ‘Contractor’s Equipment’ includes the apparatus, machinery, vehicles and the
things necessary for carrying out and completing the Works including any remedial works.

The Engineer’s consent is not required if the vehicles are used for transporting goods and
personnel off the Site.

How to Complete

Insert the name of the Contractor and description of the Works which should match the
entries in the Contract Agreement (and also the Appendix to Tender, in the case of the name
of the Contractor), Notice number and issue date.

Describe the items of equipment where consent has been given for their removal from the
site.

The name of the Engineer should match the person named in the Appendix to Tender (or
such other person whom the Employer may appoint from time to time and has notified to the
Contractor) and the signature should be that of, or on behalf of, such named Engineer.

Who to Issue

Issue the original to the Contractor and copies to the Employer and any other relevant parties.
