peacefulness and to secure the people from those bomb threat. Since that we know
how dangerous our world of today. We really need to provide securities for the
safety of the people.
According to our Security Guard at Central Mindanao Colleges. He said that “by
promoting peace here in school it should start with yourself and give respect to the
students, the faculty staff and others. Despite of all the issues here in Kidapawan
and we know that it is hazardous, because of many killings that is being surround
us. But it is our duty to protect and give secure to the school, and it is also our
responsibility to promote peace as well because this is our vision and mission to do
so.”
According to Ceasar N. Sollorano one of the Traffic Management Unit (TMU) here
in Kidapawan City. Being one of the peace advocate, and by promoting peace
despite of the issues in Kidapawan. He said that “ We implement our mission of
Public Safety to maintain peace and order by administering a comprehensive Traffic
Management plan. If there is an accident, we manage the roadway to lessen the
traffic which cause of being crowded. And at the same time for the Terrorist, since
we know already that we should be always alert for the bomb threat here in
kidapawan. We divert the people and to keep them away from the dangerous place.
This is for the protection and security to everyone.”
According to SF02 Jedward F. Alparaque member of Bureau Of Fire Protection and
one of the peace advocate. He said that, “ Our role as a Fire protection is to suppress
and prevent the outbreak of destructive fires, enforce relevant laws, and provide or
help provide emergency medical and rescue services. By attaining peace we may be
responsible for public safety, protection of lives and properties, enforcement of laws,
and maintenance of peace and order” within Philippine territory. It could take
necessary measures to “prevent and control fires, investigate the commission of all
crimes and offenses and bring offenders to justice” to ensure public safety.
And also by giving respect of the people, We create to help you and protect you from
conflagration because Respect for us is to create PEACE.
According to one of the teacher in Suerte Elementary School. She said that, “ Peace
education is the process of acquiring the values, the knowledge and developing the
attitudes, skills, and behaviors to live in harmony with oneself, with others, and
with the natural environment.
The concept of peace can be described as the values including respecting features
such as race, gender, religion, physical appearance, and age; appreciating
diversities, unity, cooperation, tolerance and being fair.
The goals of peace educators also include helping students understand national
security and war behavior. During a peace education program, educators try to
address student fears and help them appreciate peace through a peaceful classroom
which is invaluable to both educator and students. It makes possible for teachers to
teach and the students to learn.
