Notice of Contract Award

The following is a notice of contract award that will serve to give notice to the
marketplace of the progress of a competitive procurement process of the
Government of Nunavut.

Competition Number: RFP 2018-74

Competition Title: Standing Offer Agreement, Medical & Duty Travel & Air
Freight on Scheduled Airlines, Nunavut

Term: Initial term of 3 years with two renewal options of two (2) and one (1) year
respectively. The total potential term of this contract is six (3+2+1=6) years.

Background: The GN issued an RFP process on January 18, 2019. Proposals were
received from the following 4 proponents:

1. Bradley Air Services Limited dba Fist Air

2. Calm Air International LP
3. Canadian North Inc.
4. North Star Air

Successful Proponents:

1. Calm Air International LP – Award Regions 3, 6, 7 (Kivalliq, Rankin Inlet-

Winnipeg and Sanikiluaq)
2. Canadian North Inc. – Award Regions 1,2,4,5 (Qikiqtaaluk, Kitikmeot, Iqaluit
– Ottawa, Iqaluit-Rankin Inlet – Yellowknife – Edmonton).
