I am here in front of you to give a speech regarding opportunities.

Why is opportunity so important that it affects our life? Why is there a choice in opportunity?
What does it concern on achieving greater heights?

At this point of life, we have already faced different opportunities given to us and have acted upon
it. No matter what kind of opportunities there is, whether it is small or huge it will change your life base
on how you will decide on its effect. It is said that “Life is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice”
in the same way opportunity is equal to choice. Why? Because your life does not depend on chances or
luck. A proactive person knows that he is responsible for his own actions and decides and designs his
destiny. On the same way, opportunities may rise along way and it is our choice to decide for that certain
thing that will design our life. Remember that true opportunity never knocks, you must seek until you
find an opportunity, and if we can’t find it, then we have to create it. As a known American comedian,
Milton Berle, said “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door”. It means if you don’t come across the
opportunity that you want, then find a way to achieve it.

I myself have encountered numerous opportunities and, it led me to the person I am right now.
There are opportunities that I have missed, and I myself regret it because when opportunities are lost,
someone else will seize the one I miss so never waste an opportunity. But nevertheless, a lost opportunity
doesn’t mean it’s the last opportunity so there is no reason for you to give up. Opportunity is missed by
most people because it is dressed in overalls, and looks like work. I believe as well that most opportunity
comes from hard work, from the fruit of your actions. And Success is the result of your hard work and the
opportunity given to you because of your perseverance. Everything that is negative giving you pressures,
challenges is all an opportunity for us to rise, the bigger the challenge the bigger the opportunity. If you’re
having doubt about an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it then say YES and learn how
to do it later on, so that you won’t regret the chances that you didn’t take. And if you fail don’t be afraid
to start over again, it is an opportunity for you to rebuild what you truly want. Because it could be the
major opportunity that will affect your whole life and it could be right where you are right now. It depends
on you how you will react to the opportunity given to you to lead you to greater heights. And the key to
unlock the opportunities in your life is you yourself.
