Recovery of Equipment Instructive

PURPOSE:
Provide a guideline reference to be followed when there is need to recover mining, medium and light equipment that got
disabled because of adverse conditions, incidents or because the equipment is down.

SCOPE:
This instructive applies to all activities that involve recovery of mining, medium and light equipment within the business
unit and activities controlled by Calenturitas Mine, including activities of contractors and third parts.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TASK


The following requirements must be complied before starting the rescue process.
Work permit, Check list and/or Lifting plan: Training (required for all personnel):
 Mining, medium and light equipment daily  Tire and Rim handling
inspection form (as it applies)  General Safety Induction

 Two way radios  Equipment list in Mine installations:
 Guayas  Wheel equipments: Mining truck,
 Shackles articulated truck, wheeldozer, frontal
 Strobes loader, motograder, lowboy and
manlift, light and medium equipment.
 Bull equipments: retroexcavator,
digger, drill, bulldozer.
