All you need to know about SNAP Exam 2019

August is that time of the year where the registrations for various MBA/Msc entrance
exams are about to begin. SNAP test 2019 is no different. Just like last year, lakhs of
MBA/Msc aspirants will fill the ​SNAP Application form​, in the hope of excelling in the
exam. The reward for it? An opportunity to pursue one of the MBA programmes offered
by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU]. They rank amongst
the top B-schools in the country based on factors such as faculty, campus and
placements.

To avail this fantastic opportunity, you must know SNAP’s important dates, the
programmes offered, the institutes offering these programs, the cities that conduct the
exam and the exam structure.

a. Important Dates

These are the important dates for the ​Symbiosis National Aptitude Test​-

Registration Start Date 16 August 2019 (Friday)

Registration End Date 23 November 2019 (Saturday)

Final Date for Payment 23 November 2019 (Saturday)

d. Test Structure

The latest paper pattern is as follows:

● SNAP 2019​ test will be computer based test.

● SNAP consists of 110 questions. The number of normal questions - 105. The
number of special questions - 5. Number of questions in each section

1. General English - 34
2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning - 36
3. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency - 40

● The exam is of 150 marks. Weightage of each section -

1. General English - 51 marks.


2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning - 54 marks.
3. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency - 45 marks

● Weightage of each question in every section -


1. General English - 1.5 marks
2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning - 1.5 marks
3. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency - 1 mark for normal
question, 2 marks for special question.

● SNAP consists of negative marking. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative
marks for Normal Questions and for Special Questions.

● Test duration - 120 mins, i.e. 2 hours.
