La biografía es un escrito que aborda la vida de una persona, brindando detalles respecto las
condiciones de nacimiento, vida y de muerte.

La palabra biografía es un término proveniente del griego, específicamente bio significa vida y
graphein, escribir. Ésta trata de preservar la totalidad de la vida del biografiado, contando sus
logros y fracasos, remarcando las partes más destacadas y significativas de esa vida, relatando
anécdotas, recuerdos y experiencias.

CARRACTERISTICAS:

 Narra sucesos verdaderos enmarcados en un contexto histórico real.

 Precisa fecha de nacimiento y muerte, estudios, profesión, familia, logros, fracasos, ect.
 Cuenta sucesos representativos en la vida del personaje para contarnos su historia.
 Puede tener una estructura cronológica.
 Es un relato narrado en tercera persona.
 Está ubicada en un tiempo preciso, en los años durante los cuales transcurre la vida del
personaje.
 La descripción se centra en los lugares que frecuentó, personalidad y físico del personaje.
