Who we are

TLC Legal, the erstwhile Tax Law Chambers, was founded in 2005 by the Founding Partner, Vipin Jain.

In 2019, the Firm has 13 Partners and 27 professionals and is headquartered in Mumbai with branch offices in
New Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and affiliates in several other cities.

TLC Legal is one of the leading tax attorney firms in India, specialising in laws relating to Indirect Taxes and
International Trade Policies. Our team comprises of Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants, with
decades of experience in tax litigation, tax policy formulation, tax administration and tax strategy.

consistent demand for well informed and able tax professionals in the legal ecosystem. Tax as a subject has a

What do we do
We provide practical, holistic and business oriented advisory, compliance support review, due diligence and
litigation services relating to laws of Indirect taxes such as Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, Value Added
Tax, Foreign Trade Policy and Goods and Services Tax; in laws of International Trade such as Anti-Dumping and
Safeguard Duties. We also advise on the laws pertaining to The Prevention of Money Laundering, Foreign
Exchange Management Act, Export Oriented Units and Special Economic Zones.

We have advised and successfully represented our clients in very complex cases involving interpretation of tax
laws before the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, Advance Ruling Authorities and other fora.

Internship Details
We encourage internship applications of 4th year and final year students.

Students with Tax elective will be preferred. It should be a minimum of 4 weeks of internship.

Stipend: INR 7500 per month
