For rational log-hauling in intensive final felling, where ransport distance can be very long, the forwarder should offer good stability
and high load capacity as well as be equipped with a powerful and fast loader. The perfect description of a Solid F14, which has a stable
chassis, large load area with a low centre of gravity and is available with optional wagon lengths. The forwarder is proven to be fast
and easy to operate and has a powerful and flexible loader.

Reliable and functional

ROTTNE SOLID F14 is a powerful forwarder with a load capacity
of 14 metric tons and is available in 6 or 8 wheel models. The
machine has a robust frame design with powerful articulated joint
and intergated articulated frame lock. Superb stability is obtained
as the wagon has large bogie pivoting angels, wide weels and an
a load area with a low centre of gravity. The load area can easily
be changed for different lenghs of timer as the front gate and front
bunks are moved hydraulically and the gate can also be raised.

The wagon frame in available in different lengths, which increases

the number of options when ordering the machine. RK 80, which is a
tried and tested loader with an excellent reach can, if necessary, be
chosen with double telescopic jib arm that then increase the reach
to about 9 meters. There is an extensive range of extra equipment
available for the forwarder, which means the customer can adapt
the machine to fit his needs.

ROTTNE SOLID F14

ROTTNE SOLID F14 has a 6 cylinder engine and hydrostatic
transmission that gives the forwarder a smooth and adaptable drive
system. The operator can, via the computerised control system
IQAN, control the machine’s movements with great precision
even in difficult terrain. An electronic quickshifting with adjustable
speed interval gives increased safety at low speed. The cab, which
is extremely spacious and has good visibility in the immediate
surroundings, is ergonomically designed with all the manoeuvirin
functions well placed around the operator.

The air condioner with ACC has a newly developed filter system
on the fresh air intake with large filter area that gives good air
exchange and also filetrs recirculated air.

The side mounted cooling systém for the engine and transmission
has a large capacity and the temperature decides the speed of
the thermostat controlled hydraulic driven fan, which means the
cooling effect is fully independent of the engine speed.

The radiator can be swivelled out of the engine compartment to

facilitate clearing. The separate hydraulic oil cooler also has a
thermostat controlled fan where the fan speed is governed by the
oil temperature.

The forwarder has 700-wheels, yet the compact slew ring

journalled, gear driven bogies mean it is not more than 275 cm
wide. The wagon has adjustable, bolted bunks, which allows extra
bunks to be easily fitted.
