Last two days, we have had deep insights into several issues on Shrines and Pilgrimages. We had
scholars from local, national and international levels enlightening us both in theory and in practical
ways to reflect philosophically on this area. Thank you very much to you all.

 As we come to the valedictory function I now take this opportunity to invite and welcome the
dignitaries to the dais, Rev. Fr. A. M Jayapathy Francis SJ Rector of Loyola College, Dr.G. Joseph
Antony Samy SJ Principal of Loyola College, Dr. E.P Mathew SJ Head of the Department of
philosophy Loyola College, and Dr. Lawrence S Fernandes, SJ, Convener of the Seminar & Director
of Satya Nilayam Research Institute to adorn the dais.

The main objective of the conference was to bring in focus the recent advancements in the field of
Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering etc. The conference
provided an exceptional platform to researchers to meet & to discuss the practical solutions,
scientific results and methods in solving various problems with the people who are actively involved
in these emerging fields. In the conference, 72 papers were received from all over India; out of them
40 papers were shortlisted for the presentation

he conference aims to bring together leading academics, researchers and researchers to exchange
experiences and research findings on all aspects of engineering, technology and management. It also
provides scientists, engineers and practitioners with the leading interdisciplinary forum to present
their latest research results, ideas, developments and applications in all engineering, technology and
management areas. The conference will bring together leading academics, researchers and researchers
from around the world in the field of interest.

The scientific program focuses on current advances in engineering, technology and

management research, production and use, with particular emphasis on their role in
maintaining the academic level in engineering and applied sciences and raising the level of
science.
The goal of the conference is to provide a scientific forum for all global international scholars
and enable the interactive exchange of state - of - the - art knowledge. The conference will
focus on the proven benefits of studies and scientific experiments based on evidence.

Fr G. Joseph Antony Samy, the Principal of Loyola College is indeed a good friend of our department
of philosophy. He has always shown keen interest in our activities and in him we found a great
