International Freight Forwarding ( Import and Export)

While exporting can greatly contribute to a firm’s economic growth, it can also be a time
consuming process for the small and medium-sized business. This article outlines ways in
which exporters can mitigate confusion and delays associated with international trade logistics.

LCL & FCL Cargo Handling

If an exporter has goods to accommodate in one full container load, he books an FCL (Full
Container Load) to stuff his cargo. In an FCL cargo, the complete goods in the said container
owns by one shipper. In an FCL owned by one shipper, the cargo in the container need not have
fully loaded cargo in the container. Let the cargo be half loaded or quarter loaded container, if
booked by one shipper under one shipment, the said shipment is called FCL shipment.

Cross-Trade & Customs Clearances

Our cross trades teams support our full range of containerized freight services, in particular dry
cargo, refrigerated cargo (reefers), out-of-gauge, precious and hazardous cargo. Our teams
provide a comprehensive service that includes competitive pricing, securing bookings,
documentation handling, tracking facilities and pre/on carriage arrangements. This means that
wherever your cargo is traveling to or from, you’ll have a dedicated team supporting you, locally.
Logistics & Warehousing

The global warehousing concept has gained popularity over the last decade as stock pre-
positioning becomes one of the strategies for ensuring a timely response to emergencies. They
are usually purpose built or purpose designed facilities operated by permanent staff that has
been trained in all the skills necessary to run an efficient facility or utilising third party logistics
(3PL) staff and facilities. For such operations, organisations use, information systems that are
computer based, with sophisticated software to help in the planning and management of the
warehouse. The operating situation is relatively stable and management attention is focused on
the efficient and cost effective running of the warehouse operation. Numerous organizations
have centralized pre-positioning units strategically located globally. Some of these offer
extended services to other humanitarian organizations on a cost plus operating charges basis.

Door to Door Cargo Delivery

We are offering a worry free “door to door” or “door to pier” premium quality service nationwide.

Vessel Chartering / Project Cargo

We do all the work in finding the right charter so you get a low freight rate. We are here to find
the resources you need to get your job done. We offer several vessel chartering services such
as RoRo vessels, container vessels, dry cargo vessels, and bulk carriers. We find and partner
up with quality companies for charters. We negotiate contracts for long term deals with several
companies. We can also provide premium chartering services.

Inland Transportation

Prestige's international team of logistics professionals can offer you a multitude of service
solutions to meet all your inland transportation needs. By rail, barge, or road, our flexible inland
transportation services cover both FCL (full container load) and LCL (less than full container
load), and help ensure your products are collected and delivered to the right place, at the right
time.
