OBJECTIVE : Main skill
 By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
o Describe the nationality and the flag by giving at least
three nationality and feature of flags using:
 I am Brazilian.
 He is Brazilian.
 The flag has a round shape.
 The flag has green, yellow and white colours.

Complementary skill
 By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
o Ask and answer at least one question on nationality and
flag feature in contribution cards activity.
 Where are you from?
 Are you from...?
 Are you Brazilian…?
 I am from…
 I am Brazilian…
 What colours the flag has?
 What kind of shape the flag has?
ACTIVITY : Set Induction:
1. Teacher provides pupils with flashcards on nationality in groups.
2. Ask the pupils to draw a flag based on the instruction from the
teacher.
3. Pupils share their flag and nationality.
4. Teacher and pupils discuss about the features of the flag.
Lesson Development:
5. Teacher pre-teach about the nationality and the flag.
6. Teacher provides pupils with information gap fills worksheet.
7. Pupils role-play the dialogues to complete the worksheet in pairs.
o Two sets of work sheet.
 More gap fills on descriptions.
 Descriptions on colour and shape.
8. Pupils check their answer with their friends.

9. Pupils get into group of six.
10. Teacher provides contribution cards and flags to each pupil.
11. Pupils ask and answer questions to clarify and show
understanding about the nationality and the flag features.
Plenary:
12. Teacher conducts taboo card with random pupil from each group.
13. Teacher summarises the lesson by asking question about the
nationality and flag for the whole class.
