returnees — AJ Comp is our senior that kept the boys running this summer, he
is ready for this season. Austin Small, Dustin Jackson and Joey Ruell contribute as
strong senior leaders and performers. Shane Nutt is a junior that is a consistent high
finisher for us. Avery Deboer, a second year junior has worked hard this summer,
his times are down from last year already, he is also ready for the season to start.
Spencer Musselman, a junior has been surprising us at practice, look to see him
run quicker times this year. Olivia Dolley is a junior returning to use her experience
and love of the sport to led this girls team with the longtime presence of Sarah
Branscombe, senior by her side. Chloe West is a strong junior returnee that will
score well for us. Ashley Hutchinson is a second year runner that has found a love
for the sport and big competitive bone! Karlee Wilkerson is another sophomore
that will bring a dogged determination that will serve this team well. This is one of
the best returnee groups in recent years!
newcomers — Peter Maddox and Hayden Hall are both newcomers to the
sport this year. Peter is a freshman coming to us after running in middle school and
is quickly adjusting his pace to be closer to the older boys. Hayden is joining cross
after a running track last year is ready to put his determination and work ethic to
work. Riley Cohoon is a first year runner that is anxious to get on the course and
clock a time. Emma Nickerson and Anna Ponce are strong runners coming from
our Middle Schoool program, they know the game are ready to run iin the top
7. Madison Booms is another Freshman that is running for the first time this year.
Eleese Peterson is a first-year junior that is anxious to put her mark on cross.
stregnths — This group is supportive and encouraging. Something new is the
drive that both teams are showing as we wrapped up the first week of practice.
This will translate into more success for these two teams.
