1. INTRODUCTION

As a part of the developmental process, the members of the staff of a company are
required to undertake trips to various parts of the globe. These visits many be for business or
operational purpose. Also, nearly everyone goes on a vacation and for this Travel Agency
Management System would play a vital role in planning the perfect trip, be it vacational or
business.
The proposed system is a web based application and maintains a centralised repository to
make necessary travel arrangements and to retrieve information easily as and when required. It
makes all operations of the tour company easy and accurate. The standalone platform makes
tourism management easy by handling agencies requests and providing servers for the customers
located at different parts of various cities. The approach focuses on new ways of business,
combining IT innovation and adoption while also leveraging an organization’s current IT assets.
Different modules have been incorporated in this project to handle different parts and sectors of
the tour management field.

Introduction to the language

It was developed by Bjarne Stroustrup in 1979. C++ is :

i. Statically-typed: doesn’t allow the compiler to make assumptions about the type of
data
ii. Fast: offers a huge boost in speed that high level languages like Python, Java
don’t give us.
iii. Multi-paradigm: supports at least 7 different styles of programming and gives
developers the freedom to choose one at their will.
iv. Intermediate-level general-purpose middle-level programming language.
3. OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT

1. This application is developed to provide best travelling services to the customers and travel
agents.

2. Provides a search platform where a tourist can find their tour places according to their choices.
Also helps to promote responsible and interesting tourism.

3. This system also helps to develop tourism with different cultures so that they enrich the
tourism experience and build pride.

4. This system creates and promotes forms of tourism that provide healthy interaction
opportunities for tourists and locals and increase better understanding of different cultures,
customs, lifestyles, traditional knowledge and believes. It also provides a better way to connect
with various events.

5. To save the time and effort of the people and make it convenient for them.

 User Friendliness is provided in the application with various controls provided by system Rich
User Interface.
 The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible.

 The employee information can be stored in centralized database which can be maintained by the
system.

 This can give the good security for user information because data is not in client machine.

 Authentication is provided for this application only registered Users can access. .

 The automated system will provide to the employees for reliable services.

 The speed and accuracy of this system will improve.

 It helps to develop a strong connection with the customers so that they can plan the holiday of
their dreams.
