Set Expose Time

The longer the exposure time, the more the sensitization time of electronic negative on printing paper,
and the deeper the shown color density. The shorter the exposure time, the less the sensitizations time
of electronic negative on printing paper and the shallower the shown color density. By modulating
exposure time, optimum time set can be found to get the best real color effect.

Effects of exposure components

Exposure time can be divided into three parts, cyan, magenta and yellow, referring respectively to
functioning time of red, green and blue light on the printing paper. Give an example of black block on
the standard test image. The longer the red exposure time, the higher the cyan density in the black
block; the longer the green exposure time, the higher the magenta density in the black block; and the
longer the blue exposure time, the higher the yellow density in the black block.

Step 5:
1. Enter proportion for modulating(70
as default), and click “Adjust” to
generate uniform file. Thus, a
uniform file has been successfully
made.

How to make uniform of full image is introduced above. Adjustment in “Partial Mode1X2” is alike.
You should pay attention to the difference that, in “Partial Mode”, you have to repeat all steps of adjustment in
“Full Mode”. Deal with the left part of image first, the right part later. (Here we suppose “Center” point is on left
of the “Direct” point.)
