To send to RM Bridge
To send analytical model data to LEAP Bridge Concrete for analysis and design, use the
following procedure.
You must have LEAP Bridge Concrete installed on the same computer as OpenBridge Modeler to
transfer data.
1. Either:
On the Interop ribbon tab, select the LBC tool in the Analytics group and then select Export
from the drop-down list
or
select the Export to LEAP Concrete tool in the Interop task group
or
A message dialog from LEAP Bridge Concrete opens when the data transfer is complete.
2. (Optional) Click the folder icon to save the LEAP file to a different location.
3. Click OK.
The bridge model opens in LEAP Bridge Concrete. A message dialog confirms the successful transfer
of bridge data.
To update the current bridge model from a corresponding LEAP Bridge Concrete file, use
the following procedure.
You must have LEAP Bridge Concrete installed on the same computer as OpenBridge Modeler to
transfer data.
1. Either:
On the Interop ribbon tab, select the LBC tool in the Analytics group and then select Update

To create a Integrated Civil i-Model repository containing the terrain and geometry data for
your project, use the following procedure.
1. Either:
on the Interop ribbon tab, select the Create tool in the Civil Consensus group
or
select the Create ICM tool in the Model Interoperability task group under the Civil Tools task
or
Option Description
Note: Area templates that are common in civil cells may require turning on linear
features to generate the required geometry associated with the surfaces.
Include Includes all Terrains stored in the current and referenced models.
Terrain Native MicroStation graphics are not automatically included in the ICM
Models exchange. However, if they are promoted into the Civil Model by applying a
Civil Feature Definition then they are included as geometry in the resulting
ICM.
Note: The ICM provides model exchange however since Terrains by their nature
can be large consideration to the size of data should be taken into account.
Separating the Terrain Model from the ICM and utilizing traditional exchange
formats for the Terrain through native file formats may be more efficient than
utilizing the ICM. Separating the Terrain Model from the ICM and utilizing traditional
exchange formats for the Terrain through native file formats may be more efficient
than utilizing the ICM.
6. Click Save. The ICM file is created. The program status bar indicates when the creation is
finished.
To read horizontal and vertical geometry from a Integrated Civil i-Model repository, use the
following procedure.
1. Either:
on the Interop ribbon tab, select the Read tool in the Civil Consensus group
or
select the Read ICM tool in the Model Interoperability task group under the Civil Tools task
or
2. Select the location and file name (with the .icm.dgn extension) of the file to be imported
then click Open. The Civil Design Synchronization Navigator opens, populated with the data
from the imported ICM.
3. Select the data to import.
