 SUPPORT.  The  participants  on  the  two‐day 
Road  Safety  Forum  purposely  convene  to 
develop  concrete  and  doable  projects  and 
programs  promoting  pedestrian  safety  in 
their  respective  localities  in  observance  of 
the Second Global Road Safety Forum. 

WALK.  As  part  of  the  program  on 

the  Road  Safety  Forum  dubbed 
Pedestrian  Safety,  the  participants 
launched  the  Long  Short  Walk 
Campaign  in  Manila  Road  Safety 
Park . 
 SOLIDARITY.  About  300  participants  from 
the  government  sector,  business,  Non‐
Government  Organizations  (NGOs),  civil 
society,  and  media  sign  the  Long  Short 
Walk Campaign Wall to encourage walking 
and biking without fear of injury for safer, 
healthier, greener mobility. 

INITIATIVE.  Assistant  Secretary  Dante 

Lantin  strongly  supports  the  Long  Short 
Walk Campaign of Zenani Mandela as he 
initiated  the  signing  of  the  Campaign 
Wall  during  the  Road  Safety  Forum  at 
the  Heritage  Hotel  Manila  on  February 
27, 2013. 
SAN JUAN CITY, METRO MANILA
 OBJECTIVES
• PROMOTES the use of helmet, and the 
turning on the headlights even during 
daytime while riding the motorbike 
(a.k.a H20 Project). 

• ENGAGES the LGUs in improving road 
safety in their localities through the 
passage and implementation of 
appropriate road safety measures, 
ordinances, and laws. 

• SEEKS to feature and promote tourist 
spots
