Introduction

Description of the Business

PSB Escape Enterprise, Inc. is a service or offering to students of Philippine School


(Bahrain) to experience a themed escape room. An escape room is a physical adventure game
in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles. The rooms are designed to be thrilling
and have mysteries which shall lead the players to clues and hints to discover the answers that’ll
help them escape. The company consists of a team of Grade 12 students who are eager to create
and design an escape room for their school, especially in the High School Department.

The business shall also be providing prizes to the participants which consists of teams
containing 4 to 6 members; however, the team who has the fastest time of escaping the room
will win a grand prize.

To be the leading escape room enterprise in Bahrain, successfully garnering customers


with its effectively interesting theme and ideas.

ii. Mission

To create an escape room that can simulate and create a fun and challenging
experience for each and every customer or player of the service.

iii. Objectives

• To create and design our own “escape the room” to be offered at an affordable price to
the students of Philippine School (Bahrain) with the aim to entertain them with the given
“escape the room” service.

• To have a successful business that can help in providing funds that will be used for the
better good.

iv. Performance Targets

Our target is to satisfy our customers with our escape room as our product with at least a
60% of satisfied customers through the use of survey.

Products/Services

 Product/ Business Model: Themed Escape Room


 Theme: Mystery, Crime, Thriller
 Synopsis: 15 years ago at a certain school, 4 students have been murdered by a
mysterious killer within one month, the month of April. These happened during each
week of the month, each victims have been murdered on the exact same day of each
week, Thursday. The way of killing is still unclear as there were no weapons found in
the investigation site. The killer was able to clean up all certain evidences leaving only
a trace of 4 cards assigned to each person they have murdered.
 How to use the product: Teams are required to enter and play the escape room. Each
team would consist of 4 to 6 members. Since the escape room will not be using
electricity, the players are required to use flashlights to find for clues. The escape the
room service shall feature very interesting and challenging problems and puzzles they
need to solve to be able to discover the answer and find the key to be able to escape the
room.
 Game Service: Each team of customers shall be given 10 – 15 minutes (timed by the
management of the enterprise) to solve the mystery to escape the room. Fastest group
to escape the room would be able to win prizes from brands such as YOYOSO,
YUBISO, DAISO and MUJI. Normal participants will win consolation prizes.

Marketing Analysis

Target Market: PSB Escape Enterprise’s target customers are the (Junior and Senior) High
School students of Philippine School (Bahrain).

Demographics: Customers are expected to come from these factors:

 Age: 13 to 18
 Education Level: High School
 Occupation: Student

The Escape Room Service aims to provide an entertaining escape room service to the customers
who will be visiting at the carnival. Since the business is consists of a team of Grade 12 students
with the escape room to be located in their own audio-visual room (AVR), the materials and
equipment needed to make this business possible shall be taken from the group’s own budget.
Therefore, the group themselves are providing for the materials and prizes.

Personal market research by the group indicates an attractive market niche for our services,
of which Escape Room will take full advantage. This is due to the business/service being
interesting, unique, challenging and having being a growing industry in the business world.

In fact, this business/service being implemented by the group may be the first ever project
to plan an escape room service to students of Philippine School (Bahrain). With this
knowledge, future entrepreneurs can use the group’s business plan as a guide and overview on
the effectivity and results of implementing an escape room service as a business in Philippine
School (Bahrain).

Marketing Plan

Since the enterprise is located at the Audio-visual room (AVR) building, our targeted
audience are the high school students

The students are requested to form groups that consists of 4 to 6 members and are required
to pay 300 fils in order to enter the escape room. The members are then to solve the puzzles
within the escape room within 10 minutes and if it goes beyond, there will be a punishment
which is made as a surprise. If the players managed to solve the puzzles within 10 minutes,
they get a prize. The prize gets bigger if they managed to finish fast.

Our company will be implemented without the use of the building’s electricity.

The enterprise plans to have a total 120 customers within the whole day and expected to
have an outcome of satisfied customers and an increase of sales.

Location

The PSB Escape Enterprises, Inc. is located at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) which is
situated at the ground floor of the Elementary Building of Philippine School (Bahrain).

Personnel Plan

Since PSB Escape Enterprise, Inc. still remains in its formative stage and all stock
holders' compensation is purely based on net profit, and in March 2019, there is no
revenue being generated, hence there are no salary expenses. There will be added where and
when necessary and in line with success in penetrating the plan's targeted markets.

At April 2019, the company’s budget contemplates on hiring one operations manager, two
accountants, one distribution manager and other staff in which these are all part time

positions. The total salaries are divided equally among the employees of the company. At
May 2019, the employee’s salaries shall increase by 5 BHD if the enterprise still continues.

The total number of employees at the end of 2019 are five people.

The salaries of the Director, Operations manager, Distribution Manager, accountant and staff
is included in the Cost of Sales. This can be seen in the personnel plan below:
