Guidelines for Submissions for Diploma in English Language Teaching (DELT)

SEMESTER I

Introduction to the Study of English Language: (30 Marks)

Under this submission the student need to preparation of three teaching aids.
Maintain variety in
preparing teaching aids. Each teaching aid will carry 10 marks.

The Structure of English Language: (30 Marks)

Under this submission the student need to write a report on book review of �The
English Teacher� by R.K.
Narayan.

Instructional Methodologies of English Language: (30 Marks)

Under this submission the student need to write text analysis based on core
elements and core values.

*** All the three submissions mentioned above should be sent together at the end of
semester I in a
box file or single spiral binding (Resource file I)

Read the practical manual given along with the study kit of Semester I very
carefully. Here the
guidelines are given in brief. For detail explanation, refer the practical manual.

General Guidelines for Submissions:

. There will be one hard copy submission of 30 marks per course. Minimum passing
marks for each submission is 15 Marks.

. The submissions for all the three courses of Semester I should be sent together
at the
end of the semester in the form of Resource File � I.
Important Instructions

. Detailed guidelines for the preparation of above mentioned submissions is


provided in the
practical manual sent to you along with first semester study material and uploaded
in your
student centre
. The submission of resource files can be done within the program duration (1year)
or within
registration validity period (2 year) of the program.

. Any queries pertaining to Evaluation of Submissions:-

The students are requested to contact SCDL within 8 -10 working days after the
submissions marks are
reflected in performance sheet. The queries on submissions evaluation received
after above said
timeline will not take into consideration.

. The hard copy of Submissions once submitted at SCDL will not be returned to
student. Students must
retain one copy of the Submissions for future reference.
. Students are required to submit the hard copy of submissions with applicable
Submission Fee. The
fees can be paid through online payment or by Demand Draft. The D/D should be in
favor of �The
Director SCDL, Pune� payable at Pune and attached the D/D with duly filled Service
Request Form on
following address.

The online payment link is available under the project option in your student
centre.
. If the student fails to obtain minimum passing marks in the submission, the
student needs to resubmit
the relevant hard copy only after payment of the applicable resubmission fees,
within program
registration validity period.
. It is required that student must complete the enrolled Course/Program and
applicable submissions
with pending fees, within Course/Program registration validity period.

. Project report is to be typed and should not be handwritten. Handwritten Project


Report will not be
considered for evaluation.

. The student are required to submit individual Submissions as per the guidelines
given. The
preparation of Submissions as Group activity or copied shall be avoided and found
if any will not be
considered for further evaluation which please may be noted

. While sending submissions , kindly fill below given page and enclosed as covering
page on the
submission.
