    Remedial Reading

    Rationale

    Remedial Reading also known as developmental education, basic skills education,

    compensatory education, preparatory education is designed to assist students in order to achieve

    expected competencies in core academic skills such as literary and numeracy.

    Remedial Reading is designed to close the gap between what pupils know and what they

    expected to know. Learning reading in another setting.

    Remedial Reading is very helpful to pupils as well as to their teacher. It develops a

    continuous learning process and development in teaching process.
