INTRODUCTION
The school and the community can create a healthy environment if they work
together. They forge partnership where both parties are willing to share
information and responsibilities.
The figure above shows the parents provide assistance on terms of resources
while the teachers give their time, effort and expertise. In reality, the relationship
between parents and teachers are more dynamic since teachers also contribute
resources when need arises and parents also give their time to monitor their
children’s progress in school.
Parents:
First teachers at home
Responsible for values, attitudes and habits development
Teachers:
Enrich the students’ experience at home
Strengthens the valuable personal traits initially developed
Second parents
Members of the community:
Include the LGU, NGO, CSO, and all residents

INTRODUCTION
The school and its community in collaboration with public and private entities
can create an impact on the lives of students, teachers, and members of the
community. The school can enjoy linkages ad networking activities with
organizations for mutual benefits and assistance.
