B. REVIEW
We have already finished discussing about types
of nouns. Before we move on to the next topic let us
have a recall of common and proper noun.

I have here examples of common noun. All you


need to do is to give the proper noun to the common
noun in each number.

One day, Tuko’s friends came to visit him. They offered

with joy. He thanked his friends for their thoughtfulness.

than one? -s is added to the word tray to make it more than
one.

more than one? We change –y to –I and add –es to make it more
than one

y with a consonant before it? We change y to I then add –es to the nouns with
consonant before it.

it by adding s.
How about nouns ending in y with consonant
before it? We change y to I and add –es.
