Q2. The course ended in a long conversation with Dr. Chetri. What parts of the
conversation were important for you? Why were these parts important? Did you
agree/disagree and why? End with a learning you may agree with and wish to build
on in the days ahead.

We discussed the incident of his wife’s rape, wherein I feel the takeaway was how to
forgive someone who has hurt you badly.

I do not think I would want to reach at Dr. Chetri’s level in forgiving someone who
has hurt you that badly because I feel at that point justice was not done with his
wife. I believe I would want to forgive someone, if someone has hurt me badly but
at the same time, I can’t forgive anyone on someone else behalf when I am direcly
not a victim, which happened in Dr. Chetri’s case.

At the same time I would want to reach to a level where I can forgive someone
because when you do not forgive a person, you are hurting yourself only. Once you
forgive someone you let go your grudge and feel better. Once we do that, we can
actively move on with our life positively.
