Founder, Author, Composer, Creativist,
Phillumenist, Trainer & Visual Merchandiser

Anuraag is a rare combination of logic & creativity, intelligence & innovation and speed &
perfection.

Born in Army family with organized and disciplined life, Anuraag had education and exposure to
various parts and cultures of India which developed a deep sense of colors and creativity in him. His
father always wanted him to be an Army Officer but he found 7.62mm Rifle too heavy to carry, so
he chose a set of Crayons & a Pencilbox. Love for country made him secular, political scenario of the
country taught him to draw cartoons & caricatures, Love for music & rich traditions of India inspired
him to be a composer & a Visualizer.

He has gained 24 years of rich experience in Indian & International Retail Design & Visual
Merchandising field. He has authored 2 books on VM and 3 are underway. There are more than 100
publications of his work and articles in leading newspapers and magazines worldwide.

His vision for Pencilbox is to create functional designs which deliver results at optimum cost.
