30 Hz approved countries, Restricted to US & STA Countries:

• Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic,


Denmark, Estonia, Findland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey,
United Kingdom

30Hz embargo countries:

• Embargo in Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, Cuba, and Crimea region of Ukraine

Illegal exportation could result in 20 years imprisonment and substantial fines.

9 Hz:

• Easily exportable (carry-able) to most countries.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
30 Hz Model

- No reporting requirements if exporting to Canada

- Exporter needs to report:

• Name, address, and phone number of the exporter, and the date of export. Also, the name,
address, phone number of consignee or end user, model numbers and quantity of items of
each model number, and any serial numbers available.

• Report should be sent to UTICreport@bis.doc.gov

• Reporting period: Exports made between 1.1 and 6.30 of each year – before 7.31 &
exports made between 7.1 and 12.31 – before 1.31.

- Export Restrictions

• No export to military end-user, no military use in general

• No incorporation into military commodities (those made and located outside the U.S.)

• No Contract, sales, service, employment made to persons/entities on blacklists (search


engine available at http://export.gov/ecr/eg_main_023148.asp ) or against red flags

• No exporting to embargoed countries

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
30 HZ Model Continued:

License Exception Strategic Trade Authorization (STA) Requirements:

• Covers export, re-export, in-country transfer (which means this requirement covers dealer)

• Must furnish the Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) to subsequent consignees

• Must obtain Prior Consignee Statement (PCS) prior to shipping, and keep PCS for 5 years

• PCS could be used for multiple times, so long as party names, description of items and ECCNs
are the same

• Must notify subsequent consignee in writing that the shipment is made pursuant to STA
exception

Prohibited exports:

- For military use

Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing to the AES (Automated Export System) in ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)

Destination Control Statement - that the goods you are exporting are destined to the country indicated in all the shipping documents.

Keep all relevant export control documents and record for 5 years

RED FLAGS AND CONTROLLED END-USERS
1. The customer or purchasing agent is reluctant to offer information about the end-use of a product.

2. The product‘s capabilities do not fit the buyer’s line of business; for example, a small bakery places an order for several sophisticated lasers.

3. The product ordered is incompatible with the technical level of the country to which the product is being shipped. For example, semiconductor manufacturing
equipment would be of little use in a country without an electronics industry.

4. The customer has little or no business background.

5. The customer is willing to pay cash for a very expensive item when the terms of the sale call for financing.

6. The customer is unfamiliar with the product‘s performance characteristics but still wants the product.

7. Routine installation, training or maintenance services are declined by the customer.

8. Delivery dates are vague, or deliveries are planned for out-of-the-way destinations.

9. A freight forwarding firm is listed as the product's final destination.

10. The shipping route is abnormal for the product and destination.

11. Packaging is inconsistent with the stated method of shipment or destination.

12. When questioned, the buyer is evasive or unclear about whether the purchased product is for domestic use, export or re-export.

2. Use for rocket systems, unmanned air vehicle having a range over 300km

3. Chemical weapon or biological weapon use

4. Maritime nuclear propulsion use

5. Missile use in following countries: Bahrain, China, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, North Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Macau, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAW, Yemen

6. Sales made to foreign vessels or aircraft

7. Contract, sales, service, employment made to persons/entities on blacklists (search engine available at https://www.export.gov/csl-search ) or against red flags

8. Military end-use

9. Military end-user

10. Incorporation into military commodities controlled under 0A919 (those made and located outside the U.S.)

RECORD KEEPING

Dealer shall make records of name, address and phone number of its customers, as well as the customers’ end-uses of the Products concerning transactions of the products. Dealer shall also make records of
each shipment and relevant documents required under EAR. Each record and export document related to the Products shall be maintained for five (5) years pursuant to the requirement under 15 CFR Part
762.6.

Notes:

If any suspicious end-user or end use or red flag is found, dealer must stop the sales process immediately and report to DJI (geco@dji.com) or US Office of Export Enforcement.
