profound knowledge. explain your choices thoroughly.

Appreciation for a system


Deming point 1 (Create constancy of purpose for improvement of the product and service),
point 3 (Understand the purpose of inspection)
point 5 (Improve constantly and forever the system of production and service)
I choose this 3 points from deming cause it says that different style of improvement to the
system.
Understanding Variation
Deming point 9 (Optimize towards the aims and purposes of the company the efforts of team,
groups, staff areas.),
point 10 (Eliminate numerical goals for the workforce.),
point 11 (Eliminate work standards, management by objective and numerical quotes.)
this involve the people of the organization that is different personalities for understanding the
variation just to improve.
Theory of knowledge
Deming point 2 (Adopt the new philosophy),
point 6 (Institute training),
point 7 (teach and institute leadership)
it teach idea of learning from top managements.
Psychology
Deming point 4 (End practice of awarding business on price tag alone),
point 8 (Drive out fear),
point 12 (Remove barriers that stand between the hourly worker and his right to pride of
workmanship),
point 13 (Encourage education and self-improvement for everyone) and
point 14 ( Take action).

2. COMPARE and CONTRAST the different philosophies of the contributors

Deming introduced the statistical control quality to the Japanese, deming preach the importance
of top management leadership, customer/supplier partnership and continuous improvement in
product development and manufacturing processes.
Juran introduced the idea of Pareto Principles as an application of statistics to prioritizing process
improvements, and as a senior management to focus on quality trilogy (quality planning, quality
control, quality improvement).
Crosby tells us about the essence of quality philosophy called Absolutes of Quality Management
and the Basic Elements of Improvement.
Feigenbaum he introduced the total quality control which defined as “an effective system for
integrating the quality development, quality maintenance and quality improvement efforts of the
various groups in organization to enable the production and service at most economical levels to
allow full customer satisfaction”.
Kaoru Ishikawa built a concept of total quality and promoted greater involvement by all
employees, from the top management to the front-line staff.
