4A’s Lesson Plan in Science (Grade 11)

July, 2019
Learning Competencies
The learner:
determine Earth’s materials and processes

I. Objective
At the end of the lesson, the students shall be able to:

a) define what is an endogenic or exogenic process;

b) explain how products of weathering are carried away by erosion and
deposition, and
c) demonstrate how these geologic processes shaped the Earth.

II. Subject Matter

a. Topic : Exogenic and Endogenic Processes
III. Reference : Acledan, M., Analyn, C., et al. (2016). Earth and Life
Science for Senior High School
a. Materials : Projector, PPT presentation
b. Values : Reading and/or Listening

IV. Teaching Procedure

students will give an idea, thoughts, or guest to the
specific words.
- “Mass Wasting”, “Fold”, “Erosion”, etc.
c. Analysis
- Ask the students these questions:
- What have you noticed on our activity?
- How are those words connected to our topic for
today?

d. Abstraction
- Discuss the Endogenic and Exogenic Processes
together with their sub topics.
- The teacher will also present some pictures of the
examples.
- Is it important to know the two geological
processes? Why or Why not?
e. Application
- The students will play the activity, ‘XOX’.
- The students will be group into 5 and each group
has a specific color and symbol.
- It is just like a quiz bee, but with a twist. Each
group that can answer a question, they will put
