FOR U, ANTASENA

My interest about this team firstly come up when OKKBK for all of Materials Engineering
students batch 2018. The event was held by HMMT. At that time, I knew nothing about this
departement. OKKBK itself showed all of activities in this department, from material
society/matrice, student chapter in ITS that related to materials and metallurgical engineering,
and the most tearful was the presentation some of ITS Teams. There were Bladesmith,
Antasena, and many more. That day was the beginning of my curiosity about Antasena. Why?
This team amazed me, because of its creation which is making a car with hydrogen as its fuel
system. It sounds usual because lots of other team from varies institutes or universities also
created a concept car with an electrical energy too. But, what makes antasena diffferent? it´s
totally different, because when most of others concept car was built with electrical energy
using a battery as its power source, in Antasena, they have created an inovation car that used
hydrogen as its fuel system. The machine transformed hydrogen into an electrical energy with
technology called fuel cell. It is new for me, that there is an electrical car but didn’t use a
battery as a main source of electrical energy. I am still amazed by Antasena everytime i heard
another fact about this team. I am someone who love to read about electronic news like detik,
tempo, and another news application. There was time that i was a little bit shocked because i
read news about Antasena in detik.com. The news were about the successfull project of
antasena by creating a 3D printing machine. It confused me at the beginning, because i knew
Antasena is a team that focused on electrical car. By that time, i discovered if Antasena is a
team which is not only making a car, but also doing research and developing some of
inovation technology that might be useful in the future. Another fact, another pride. Antasena
held an inspiring event at the beginning of march, the event known as Antasena Super Course
(ASC). This event taught some lessons about a few parts that occured on Antasena electric’s
car. There were design, electrical system, the body frame, and the proccess of making carbon
fiber materials. On this event, i also realized another fact. We all know that every kind of an
electrical car is usually come from Mechanical Engineering department, diploma or bachelor
degree. There’s none other materials metallurgical engineering from other institution who also
created an electrical car. Antasena is the only team. Now, after everything that i’ve known
about this team. I’m hoping that i could contribute more, for another journey of Antasena.
With guidance from the predecessor members of Antasena, of course. I’d like to expand my
erudition in this car project. Starting from it’s renewable energy that could be an inovation for
the future to reduce the utilization of fossil energy. However, with my characteristic, i think
i’d be better to provide adiministration support to this project team. I have skills on this job,
such as preparing equipments and accomodations, arranging schedule, taking care of
correspondency, and everything that related to non-technical sections. Of course, i will still
need a guidance and learn a lot of things. But, with my antusiasm about this job and passion, i
believe i could be a quick learner and become the person that Antasena ITS Team needed.
