REDUNDANCY/SEVERANCE PAYMENTS

PLEASE NOTE

(1) All sums quoted may be subject to recalculation if earnings and/or any of the dates
shown change between the date of the estimate and the actual date of termination of
employment with this Authority.

(2) The figures assume that you have not previously received a redundancy payment in
respect of any Local Authority or related employment prior to your starting work with
any Local Authority or similar body.

(3) Pension benefits are subject to variation dependent on your earnings
between the date of this statement and the date of termination and may not
therefore be accurately calculated until after your last day of service.

(4) The payments are conditional upon you not accepting an offer of employment with
any Local Authority or similar body prior to the date of your redundancy/severance
which will commence within four weeks and one day of termination of employment
with this Authority. You will be asked to sign a declaration that you have not
accepted such an offer before you can receive your payments.
