Coordinator Director, Training Center Dept


Background
The training course "Induction Training" is useful for those persons, who are recently
joined in the organization, i.e. newly recruited staff on the organization, especially in
different business group and corporate office of NEA. Especially this course is helpful for
those individuals, who are newly recruited in the organization and not having the working
principle and structure of the organization. So Induction training is one of the important
courses conducted by the training center of NEA for newly recruited individuals.

Initiations
The initiation of the training was done by the Human Resource Department of NEA under
the DMD office of Administration. Among 447 newly recruited staffs of Post Junior Helper
(Electrical) of level one, 75 trainees form above post (75 Trainees of Junior Helper
(Electrical) had participated in this training as Group – 2 .

Course Design
The initiation of designing the course is done by NEA Training Center. The Induction
training course covers the concept of Organization structure of NEA and its function, Public
relation and communication concept, Cleaning and decoration of Office, NEA acts and
personnel rules and regulation, Concept about Traveling Allowances and Daily allowances
regulation and Staff lone of NEA, Financial Administration regulation of NEA, General
Concept of Electricity, Electricity and many more.

Training Organization
The training center training management had assigned Mr. Sitaram Palanchoke as the
coordinator of this training and Mr. Bhairam Khadka as the assistant coordinator. The
director of training center had inspected the classes in different sessions daily. The training
management division supported for the bringing of the trainees and resource persons in time.
The training management division had supported to provide the necessary training materials
and the account section also coordinate for the successfulness of this training. Basically,
white board, slides, flip chars, illustration tools are used in case of training period. Most of
the trainers presented their knowledge and experience as their assigned contents through
lecture delivered and handouts to the participants.

Evaluations
More than 90% participants expressed their feeling "Excellent" in terms of contents which
are real and relevant. But they want more Practical session rather than the theoretical classes
because of being electrical helper.
Conclusion
The duration of the training package was 3 days. The instructors of this training were from
NEA and the training center. Some of the Instructors were outside the NEA. During the
training, the trainees were very much satisfied with instructors as well as the training
management for organizing of this training. The trainees were very much interested during
the training period mostly in financial issues.
As a coordinator I am satisfied from this training. There were 75 participants in the training.
There were very close relationship between trainees and trainer. All participants enjoyed all
classes devotedly and got the benefit of the classes with great attention.
On the closing ceremony of the training, certificate distribution was done by the General
Manager of Distribution and consumer Service of NEA, Mr. Deepak Upadhaya. At last, he
also gave the closing speech as well as special thanks to all the participants.
