PPA DETAILS
I. OVERVIEW

A. Every month of July or August, Student Leaders of SRIS-HS plant trees. Students serve as the
primary planters which allows them to take ownership of the project and responsibility for the
trees.
B. School Clean-up drive aims to raise environmental awareness in different corners of the
school and to promote waste reduction, recycling and reuse and create public awareness on
waste management and environmental concerns.
II. RATIONALE

Since June 2019, the SSG officers together with the support of the YES-O club and BSP Org.
planned to plant fruit bearing trees along with campus wide clean up drive. The project started
through consultations with all the concerned organizations including the teachers, students,
head teachers and the school principal.
The main objective of the project was to strengthen the clubs through these different activities.
III. OBJECTIVES

1. To ensure the environment is safe clean and healthy
2. Promote environmental awareness
3. Ensure environmental sustainability
4. Strengthen the organizations through different activities
