This report is a design "teardown" analysis of a Nokia Flexi Multiradio 10 FBBC multi-mode
GSM/UMTS/LTE capacity expansion module for the FSMF digital baseband unit. The
capacity expansion module supports GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies.

The analysis covers the entire system. A simplified mechanical analysis of the unit along with
detailed bill of materials analysis is presented in this report. The Nokia product name is
FBBC, which is an upgrade from the FBBA and FBBB variants. The Nokia P/N for this
system module is (1P) 472181A.102. This particular unit was manufactured in Finland.

This particular unit was built in Q3 2014, given the date codes present on many of the
semiconductor integrated circuits and passive components contained within the unit. As such,
some of the components, both active and passive, may have been updated or replaced by more
recent part numbers. The majority of the components contained within the bill of materials
