Love it or Leave it

Imagine a world where there are no trees, no blue skies, no birds, and no animals. If this Earth
we live in had indeed been a place like that, we would probably never have seen it, because we
would not have existed at all. Humans are very much a part of nature, even though we have
apparently distanced ourselves from it. Even today, when we are technologically savvy and
highly self-sufficient, there is no doubt that we are extremely dependent on nature. We do not
just draw inspiration from nature, we draw our very resources for survival. But in todays time,
we humans forget the value of nature and forgets to take care of what was given to us by our
Saviour.

Nowadays, everyone has less time to enjoy nature. In the increasing crowd we forgot to enjoy
nature and improve health. We started using technological instruments for our health fitness.
However it is very true that nature has power to nourish us and fit us forever. Most of the writers
have described the real beauty and advantage of the nature in their writings. Nature has ability to
make our mind tension free and cure our diseases. Because of technological advancement in the
life of human being, our nature is declining gradually which needs a high level of awareness to
keep it in balance and to conserve natural assets. God has created everything very beautifully
seeing which our eyes can never be tired. But we forgot that we too have some responsibility
towards our nature to relationship between nature and human beings. We forgot to enjoy the
beauty of the nature in just fulfilling our duties towards our families, the way how beautiful
scenery it looks in morning with sunrise, songs of birds, sounds of lakes, rivers, air and happy
gatherings of friends in the evening in garden after a long day of crush.
Sometimes during our holidays we spend our whole day by watching TV, reading news paper,
playing indoor games or on the computer but we forgot that outside the door we can do
something interesting in the lap of nature and natural environment. Unnecessarily we left on all

the lights of home, we use electricity without need which ultimately increases the heat in the
environment called global warming.

One of the major threats to the environment is plastic. We still continue to use these things that
are harmful for the environment. The usage of plastic today that is getting out of hand. Think
about the things used in peoples daily lives like grocery bags, drinking bottles, and straws.
Virtually every human being on this planet uses plastic materials directly and inderectly every
single day. Plastic pollution kills, pollutes the water, and is difficult to clean up. Plastic products
in the environment directly affect wildlife and humans. Use of plastic bags is harmful to humans
and animals, we use plastic bags and throw it away but then these bags get mixed with soil or
water and then many toxic chemical releases from it which makes soil less fertile. When these
plastics get mixed with water many aquatic animals get affected. Many terrestrial animals eat
that plastic that we humans have thrown and often this plastic get choked into them and they die.
I know that plastics today play an important part in cutting-edge technologies such as the space
program, bullet-proof vests and prosthetic limbs, as well as in everyday products such as
beverage containers, medical devices and automobiles. Recycled plastics are used to make
polymeric timbers for use in picnic tables, fences, and outdoor toys, thus saving natural lumber.
Plastic from 2-liter bottles is even being spun into fiber for the production of carpet. They are
such a valuable resource, that, as a society, we have become dependent on plastics. It is essential
that we develop programs to assure this resource will always be available in the future and it is
evident that plastics bring many societal benefits and offer future technological and medical
advances. However, concerns about usage and disposal are diverse and include accumulation of
waste in landfills and in natural habitats, physical problems for wildlife resulting from ingestion
or entanglement in plastic, the leaching of chemicals from plastic products and the potential for
plastics to transfer chemicals to wildlife and humans. Plastics offer considerable benefits for the
future, but it is evident that our current approaches to production, use and disposal are not
sustainable and present concerns for wildlife and human health. We have considerable
knowledge about many of the environmental hazards, and information on human health effects is
growing, but many concerns and uncertainties remain. There are solutions, but these can only be
achieved by combined actions.

Plastic is really difficult to clean up, however it is not impossible. People just have to get
informed over this topic and then changes will occur. The most effective way to stop plastic
pollution is to make sure it never gets there in the forst place. If people just get more informed
about how bad it is then they would get involved. People just have to recycle more and litter less,
then there would be a big change.

We should not only think about our statuses in life and start to think of the status of the earth that
we are all living. We should learn to appreciate nature every once in a while and should really
consider a lot of things and possibilities in life. People should learn to appreciate the things
around us and take care of it because it is up to us human if we want to extend our stay here on
earth. We need to think of the future generations and how the planet would look like if we don’t
stop our bad behaviours towards our environment.
