PRECAUTIONS ON ASSEMBLY AND
DISASSEMBLY
- Follow manual regarding the assembly and disassembly of machine.
- Before repairing or disassembling the machine, make sure that the ac-cord is unplugged.
- Use standard cord connectors in joining lead wires and crimp using appropriate tool.
- When joining lead wires with solder, make sure to twist the two wires well, and apply
electrical tape.
- Make sure to insert terminals w/ housing firmly to their connecting end so it cannot be
pulled easily.
- When soldering lead wires on terminals, make sure the soldering iron does not touch plastic
parts or other insulating materials.
- Lead wires should be arranged so that wires do not touch moving parts such as belt,
motors, fan pulley, levers, and sharp edges.
BELT ADJUSTMENT
- Loosen the tapping screw located below the wash motor and all three motor fixing screw
- Lift the wash motor slightly then slide the motor spacer to the desired position.
- Tighten all loose screws then measure belt tension if within the standard range. (see table 1)
Note: See figure below on how to measure belt tension.
