SESSION 1
I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Identify the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and threat of a
business organization.
2. Differentiate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and threats
from one another.
3. Create a SWOT analysis for a given Business venture.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates an understanding industry analysis, its principles
tools, and techniques leading to the identification of business opportunities.
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to apply tools and techniques for business
opportunities like the SWOT/TOWS analysis
C. Learning Competencies The learners shall be able to identify and explain different principles, tools and
techniques in creating a business.
