Geberit has been perfecting the technology behind the Pluvia

siphonic roof drainage system since the 1980s. Today, Geberit
Pluvia is the worldʼs leading siphonic roof drainage system, with
over 1.8 million outlets installed globally. Some of the most ground
breaking designs have been made possible with the use of Pluvia.
This has been achieved by draining large roof areas using minimal
discharge pipes and simplifying hydraulic designs.

Geberit Pluvia outlets have been specially
constructed to ensure rapid removal of
rainwater from the roof using siphonic
principles with a vacuum effect. Compared
with conventional drainage, the discharge
velocity and capacity is considerably

dimensions. Rainwater within the pipes
travels at high velocity maximising
the discharge capacity and minimising
blockages.
Greater installation flexibility.
The Pluvia system is simpler because no
slopes are required for horizontal pipe
runs reducing ceiling space. Smaller pipe
diameters can lead to lower material cost
and greater installation flexibility.
